Born on the 18th of October 1984, American skiing alpine Lindsey Vonn who is now retired won 4 World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. She has the second highest overall score for any skier male or female. She's one of the best skiers of all time and the most popular skier in the United States. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn participates with The US Ski Team. Four times she has been named the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is a renowned and long-running background in American sport. She is only one of six women who have been crowned every event of the World Cup circuit. In total, she's achieved 82 World Cup championships. Skiers who are among the best in all over the globe, including the most experienced American ski racers have made their announcements of retirement following they competed in the World Championship in Sweden. After suffering from a series of health issues and injuries, the three-time World Cup champion has decided to retire. She used social media to declare her retirement. My last race of my career is set to take place in Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships as well the SG World Championships.
