Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a performer, singer, actress and musician. She works primarily as an actor and a music composer for Tamil and Malayalam-language films. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. She made her debut in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as an attorney in the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sister of a researcher assistant from Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah grew up in the vicinity of Chennai and graduated from National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. She's said she was a huge geek and was psychiatrist once she had completed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea learned classical piano when she was eight. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band she joined at 10 years old, established her foundation in early music and singing. Also, she was an actor in the college. She was also president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her professional career acting in the theatre, as Girish Karanad's Nagamandala. She acted in new leo coffee advertisement together with actor Shiva in 2006. She also starred in a TV serial which was broadcast on Podhigai. The actress has appeared all over India. She had a short role during the climax of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon wanted Andrea to perform the role of a leading character after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed with Andrea as Kalyani the wife of a homemaker who is involved in an affair and gets threatened with blackmail. Andrea was selected for the role because actors Simran Shubana, and Tabu were sought out. which released in early 2010. She agreed in 2011 to perform a tiny character in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha and it was premiered in August of 2011. In 2013, she made her debut in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's love story Annayum Rasoolum.
