Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
She was initially inspired by shadows cast on grass. After a few weeks she came up with a technique that did not make the subject on canvas as a flat image. The object becomes a representation of itself, and the canvas carries an interpretation by painting of the object, particularly in the case of a living object or perishable like people or fruit. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the photographs of her work survive. Both photographic and painting techniques are so closely coordinated that the end result is a flat, two dimensional space that achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is only visible within certain places that are close to the eyes or in hair. At times, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional space around them, allowing them to engage with this self-created world. The boundaries between performance, photography, and installation are thus dissolved.
